‘85% voted FOR Brexit parties’ Hannan rages at Alastair Campbell’s call for soft EU exit
Mr Hannan, 45, an MEP and Conservative, fired back on Twitter that at least 85 per cent of Britons had voted for Brexit, so it was time to get on with the job at hand.
He tweeted: “Eighty-five percent of us voted for pro-Brexit parties. The parties that wanted another referendum – Greens, SNP, Lib Dems – lost ground.”
The snub, directed squarely at Tony Blair’s former spin doctor came after Mr Campbell said that there was widespread concern over the UK’s divorce from the EU.
