Many were repelled when Ryan Seacrest was announced as Kelly Ripa’s permanent Live co-host last week, though Jerry O’Connell wasn’t one of them.
During a Wednesday coming on KTLA Morning News, a 43-year-old actor (and one-time frontrunner for a Live gig) suggested that he knew he wasn’t removing a full-time job.
“For those who don’t know, we co-hosted a “Live With Kelly,” now “Live With Kelly and Ryan” show,” O’Connell explained on-air. “I adore it. we adore her. It’s just, we mean, we guys know, we do live TV each day, there’s unequivocally zero like it.”
“I pronounced it before and I’ll contend it again, doing it with her… Kelly’s a best,” he added.
While a actor’s wife, Rebecca Romijn, done her beating with Seacrest’s casting known, O’Connell seemed to take a news in stride.
“I only left my house. I’ve been good a whole day. This is my initial open appearance,” he joked. “I knew. we did know. And it is a small scary, since we know some tip information that stockholders, like people of power… a preference that people in energy have made.”
“But he’s great,” O’Connell combined of a former “American Idol” host. “I know him. He’s good for that job. we still, like a uncanny ex, we watch them each morning. It’s like going to check your ex’s Facebook page, let’s see what they’re adult to.”
“It’s such a fun job. It’s only such a fun thing to do,” he combined of either he’d like to horde his possess uncover in a future. “It’s fun to come out and only have a good time.”
