Massive inferno erupts near world’s tallest building, Burj Khalifa, in Dubai

Vast swatches of the construction site have been blocked off by fire fighting crews as they desperately attempt to bring the blaze back under control.

Black fumes have now spread throughout the skyline of the city. 

No injuries have been reported from the scene although ambulances have been dispatched to the scene.
