Miracle from the 20th floor: Sisters, 6 and 8, found ALIVE after London fire
It remains a mystery how the little girls’ managed to make it out alive from their 20th floor floor when the fire erupted just before 1am on Wednesday.
The desperate search contines for the girl’s mother Farah Hamdan, father Omar Belkadi and six-month-old sister Leena, who have been missing since the 24-storey tower in Kensington, west London, went up in flames, killing at least 17 people.
Leena, pictured in her mother’s arms, is thought to be the youngest person still missing following the tragic blaze.
Today officials confirmed 17 people have died after the fire ripped through the west London tower, with the death toll expected to rise.
