SCOTUS nominee Neil Gorsuch faces crucial Senate vote


Senate Republicans say Judge Neil Gorsuch will be confirmed as a Supreme Court justice this week, one way or another. Gorsuch needs 60 votes in the Senate, including eight from Democrats, to overcome a likely filibuster. Jan Crawford reports.

  1. It’s getting harder and harder to tell the difference between America, and an actual dictatorship…WTF, conservatives have gone completely 🦇 sh*t crazy.

  2. The Democrats are fighting the wrong fight and using up precious political capital. The Ginsburg and Kennedy seats are likely to come up this year or next. If they have to change the rules the next pick would be so far to the right it would make Gorsuch look like a liberal

  3. Does anyone remember when Harry Reid used the nuclear option, of course you don’t cause Reid is considered among the “good guys”.

  4. HERE’S THE DEAL DEMOCRAPS! Either confirm a reasonable centrist like neil gorsuch or end up with someone like TED CRUZ, whos gonna roll back marriage equality and row vs wade.
