Conservative MP Andrew Rosindell, authority of a Flags and Heraldry Committee, said: “It’s a matter of identity. Having a pinkish European passports has been a source of humiliation. It joined us into one European identity, that isn’t what we are.
“The aged dim blue pattern was a distinct, transparent and confidant matter of what it means to be British, that is only what the adults need as they transport abroad after Brexit.”
Tory MP Andrew Bridgen said: “As we get the government back, I’m looking brazen to removing my British pass behind too.”
